Yaris looks like Toyota C-HR, the new Yaris Cross have a smaller wheelbase of 2560 mm and length of 4180 mm and 20 mm wide and 90 mm taller than an actual Yaris, but looks-wise new crossover Yaris is smaller than the Toyota C-HR.

It is more of a conventional design and people are fond of the existing C-HR design. The larger footprint, when compared to the sedan Yaris, makes the car more convenient and known design, and enhanced further by the split-folding rear seats with 40:20:40.

Yaris Cross have wheels with 18” diameter and a shiny Brass Gold (new combination of paint), optional electric trunk to do easy cargo loading and unloading. Yaris cross comes with All-wheel drive (AWD) that is not common in small SUV (crossover) segment, with a powertrain of a 1.5 ltr three-cylinder gasoline engine along with a powerful electric motor. The thermal efficiency of the combustion engine is up to 40% and can power in front-wheel-drive (FWD) mode. If the sensor detects conditions of poor grip, the AWD system helps in tackling the snow, rain, and even sand.

The total output for the hybrid setup is 116 horsepower (hp), a decent power for a city-oriented crossover. Toyota claiming that the front-wheel-drive (FWD) models will emit CO2 emissions of not more than 120 grams per kilometre and the All-wheel-drive (AWD) model will release less than 135 grams per kilometre CO2.
